Hello, and welcome to my Blog. My name is Gary Jenkins. I write with the spirit of service to dispel myths and provide information about finding and marrying a Russian woman. I  write from the perspective of one who’s “Been (is) There, Done (doing) That”.

First off, let me say right up front that all I write is from the position of feeling eternally grateful that I have this beautiful, amazing Russian woman as part of my life. I love her dearly and am continually thrilled at the enrichment she brings to me.

I married my Russian bride in January, 2005. And when I think back to when we first met (on the Internet), I have to admit that I was clueless. So in this Blog I will write about the many things I’ve learned since our meeting including cultural differences, language problems, helping a foreign wife adjust to life in America, dealing with visa issues and bureaucrats, money matters, how to find your own Russian wife and other topics that I hope will be useful to you.

My wife’s name is Alla. In essence what I’ll be doing here is writing our story. Certainly, your story will be different. But if you marry a Russian woman, many parts of your story will be the same as ours.

And just so you know, all that I write will be in my words. But Alla will review everything I write before it’s posted. So it’s really “our” Blog. This way, I’ll learn more about her as I check with her for clarification on specific things; and you the reader will benefit by having the facts as agreed to by a Russian woman.

So again, Welcome. And feel free to add your comments to what I write. Your thoughts could prove to be helpful to those who pass here later.

Until next time when I will write about one of those myths I promised to discuss, all the best to you.

Gary
